This is a result of using a local network with a private IP range with a 172 prefix. Change the prefix on the network router to a 192. or 10. prefix.

Open the Hardware Key Utility by going to Logs > View/Reset Hardware Key in RivCross.

This error is the result of 8-bit ASCII characters in the RivCross job file path. This may occur when using some non-English languages. The work-around is to create a folder C:Jobs where all RivCross job files are located. Within that folder create a new folder for each job using only 7-bit characters.
