As production techniques advance, the pressure for high density development is greater than ever.  With traditional surveying techniques positional uncertainty is large enough to significantly impede wellbore density, limiting productivity.  With Vector Magnetics' established electro-magnetic ranging technologies, wellbores may be placed much closer together than is possible using surveys alone, greatly increasing extraction rates from a field.
