Vector Magnetics' patented WellSpot , Gradient, and other electro-magnetic down-hole tools combined with our proprietary software make up a highly flexible tool kit that can help reduce or eliminate survey uncertainty in a wide variety of directional drilling applications.

The basic theory behind our systems involves the creation of a magnetic field either in or near the drilling well, and the detection of that magnetic signature via a down-hole sensor package transmitting that data to a computer on surface - typically via wireline.
