Passive Magnetic Ranging

Vector magnetics Passive Magnetic Ranging provides real time proximity data for the driller. Utilizing data output from the customers existing MWD tools, Vector Magnetics PMR software provides distance and direction information without requiring tripping for open hole logs.

Passive Magnetic Ranging can be used for relief wells, well avoidance, parallel wells and any application that requires real time navigation of a nearby target.
